I usually try and avoid 'western' restaurants while in Asia, but as the kids and I were out and about we decided to give it a try and were not disappointed! We had a table on the top floor which was wonderful as it allowed the breeze to circulate. We shared a starter of satays before all having a chicken schnitzel with a variety of really lovely gravies. Dessert were cheesecakes which were just amazing! We were all raving about them still the next day! All this was washed down with a variety of cocktails at around $AU4 each! Certainly recommended.

The interior decor is charming & attractive. Their desserts are delicious. I had cheese cake with strawberry tart, it's awesome man! Ms. Maya, the gorgeous owner is very attentive and we had some conversations about foods, local cultures. All in all, highly recommended when you stay in Ubud.

My friends and I had dinner here last night. We all had chicken schnitzel with a range of different sauces. All the meals were decent in size and we all loved the crumbing on the schnitzels. The staff are very eager to please. They are lead by a wonderful owner named Mara(?) she was lovely and came over to our table for a chat. She recommended a bottle of Shiraz to us and after all having a glass we decided to buy another bottle to take away back to our hotel.
Oh and the cocktails were lovely and at an amazing price!!
“Great atmosphere, Great food!”
Went to Warung Schnitzel for dinner. Super friendly staff, lovely restaurant. Sat on the top level, 3rd floor. We ordered tapas to share. They were fresh and hot. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, as recommended by the waitress, and the batter was light and crispy. Absolutely beautiful. My wife ordered the special, which was a fettuccine pasta, with pesto and chicken. It was fresh and hot and was delicious. After the entree, the owner came up ( I think it was the owner) and introduced herself and made us feel at home and was very friendly. After dinner we ordered a couple of desserts to share, the baked chocolate mousse and baked cheesecake. They arrived quickly and were divine. A beautiful meal in an equally beautiful restaraunt, with friendly staff who are always on hand. Highly recommended.

“Quite possibly our best dinner in Ubud”
We came her on our first night, both a bit sceptical, as schnitzels never really sounded that appealing. We were wrong. The food was really, really good, the staff was attentive and polite(as we have found to be the rule, not the exception in Asia), and the experience ended up being a big surprise to us both. Would definately eat there again if I were to go back to Ubud.
